Ongoing & Upcoming Events

Come gather at Alaric’s Abbey for peace practice, reflection, meaningful conversation, and deeper work of the heart. Our events range from simple weekly meditation gatherings to Sunday community circles, workshops, and retreats — each created to offer a grounded space where people can slow down, reconnect, and practice living with more clarity, courage, and peace.

Weekly Peace Practice

A simple midweek reset with gentle meditation, a short Living Peace teaching, and quiet space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect.

This weekly gathering is for anyone wanting a little more steadiness, reflection, and peace in the middle of everyday life. No meditation experience is needed, and you do not need to believe anything in particular to attend — just come as you are.

Wednesdays at 5:30 PM  ●  $10 drop-in

Break Up With Your Vice

A two-day retreat for anyone ready to better understand the patterns, habits, or coping behaviors that keep pulling them back. Whether your vice involves alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, sugar, overeating, gambling, shopping, social media, or another habit that no longer feels fully chosen, this retreat offers a supportive, no-shame space to begin meeting it differently.

Led by Chelsea Steck, LCSW, LAC and Alaric Hutchinson, this retreat blends clinical recovery insight, practical tools, mindfulness, and Living Peace teachings to help you understand the pattern, work with cravings and triggers, and practice a new response.
